As a GIS Consultant, you will play a vital role in map production and maintaining an organised and coordinated GIS database for various projects. This will include but not be limited to mapping landscape architecture, heritage, and archaeology, as well as mapping theoretical visibility of potential developments.

You can expect to work on a diverse range of projects from small-scale single dwellings to large multi £M projects covering over 5,000 acres in sectors such as Historical sites, Renewable Energy, Road, Rail, Infrastructure, hospitality, Education, Health and Sports.

**Responsibilities**
- Downloading and maintaining an organised database containing all GIS data
- Converting data into various formats relevant to consultant and client requirements
- Run both bare earth and screened ZTV’s
- Engage with all teams to establish appropriate figures and cartography suitable for each project and discipline
- Overseeing all GIS work within the company and providing technical guidance and training for other members of staff
- Setting up templates within GIS for other consultants to use and reviewing figures for consistency within the company
- Statistical and data analysis for public consultation and planning purposes

**Skills and Experience**
- At least 6 months of commercial GIS experience
- BA in GIS or demonstrate sufficient experience in using GIS
- Positive and proactive ‘can do’ attitude
- Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of GIS

**Location**

This is a hybrid role where you'll be able to work between home and our client's offices in Cambridge, York or Norwich.

**Salary**: Up to £35,000.00 per year
