The HR Booth are delighted to be recruiting a Kitchen Porter on behalf of Forbes of Kingennie.
**Who are Forbes of Kingennie?**:
Forbes of Kingennie Resort have much to offer visitors of all ages, whether looking for pure relaxation or activity-packed holidays in Scotland. We are the ideal touring base, being virtually at the geographical ‘hub’ of Scotland in Angus near Dundee and Tayside, with the most extraordinary variety of wonderful scenery on our doorstep.
**What will you be doing?**:
Within their country resort, Forbes of Kingennie host an excellent restaurant and it would be your responsibility to provide the best support possible to the wider Kitchen Team. Within the Kitchen, you will carry out food preparation tasks, that ultimately means the Kitchen operates at maximum efficiency.
We have a fantastic team at Forbes of Kingennie, and whilst this role might not necessarily be customer facing, you may have interactions with customers and we need helpful, supportive, and friendly staff to maintain our strong reputation. This will also help you build relationships across the business to ensure smooth communication.
The main accountability within the Kitchen Porter role will be keeping the Kitchen and surrounding areas maintained. This means that we have a continuous supply of clean dishes, workstations and floors are kept clean and ensure we have enough cleaning products for you to carry out your tasks.
Health and Safety is a huge part of our culture and is an important aspect of this role, we expect you to demonstrate safe use of equipment and that safe systems of work are adhered to on a daily basis.
