Commercial Coachbuilder

Due to continue expansion, Bloomfields Horseboxes are looking for a Coachbuilder to assemble horseboxes on a range of chassis 7.5 ton upwards, meeting completion deadlines and adhering to the company’s quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**
- Working on a demanding production line, to assemble horseboxes on a range of chassis, meeting completion deadlines and adhering to the company’s quality standards.
- Working from drawings and using own initiative to carry out the conversion to exacting specifications.
- Working with a variety of consumable materials, sealants, panel wipes, glues
- Working with a range of hand and power tools.
- Ensuring all Tooling/Jigs/Fixtures are maintained and fit for purpose and available to meet production requirements.
- Being responsible for ensuring the workplace is kept neat and tidy.
- Adhering to the Company’s Health and Safety Policy ensuring your own and your colleagues’ safety is protected at all times.
- Adhering to all company policies
- Participate as and when required in all aspects of production
- Good general knowledge of working with aluminium, steel, stainless, wood, fibreglass, fabrication advantageous, although on-going

Training shall be given.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Must be able to work on own initiative and unsupervised after training
- Must have good communication skills and be a team player
- Must have experience within the automotive or manufacturing industry
- Previous experience working within a similar environment Coachbuilding/commercial vehicle bodybuilding role is desirable.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £13.00-£13.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- Newark-on-Trent, NG22 9LD: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
