As part of our service delivery team, you’ll be a key member of a team installing kitchens and bathrooms for our customers and make sure that all our properties and our customers receive the highest levels of service. In your role, you’ll build strong relationships, make new friends, and have a genuinely positive impact on the lives of thousands of people.

You will take pride in the fitting of kitchen and bathrooms of domestic properties and be able to demonstrate a wide range of trade skills in carpentry, plumbing, and plastering. In addition to this, you will have experience in tiling, painting, and laying sheet vinyl flooring.

This role will allow you to use a variety of your trade skills. Using your carpentry skills you will fit kitchens and undertake other basic carpentry related tasks eg repair floorboards and boxing in pipes. With your plumbing/carpentry skills you will complete 1st and 2nd fix pipe work in kitchens to suite the new kitchen layout and have the ability to work from a drawing. In bathrooms you must able to fit a new suite shower and undertake all the necessary pipework to alterations. You will also be able to undertake full skimming of walls and ceilings where needed, to a high standard of finish ready to receive paint finish. Other duties will include laying vinyl sheet flooring, painting walls, ceilings, skirtings and architraves to a high finishing standard. You will have substantial experience in all the trade skills outlined and have a good eye for detail, ensuring that works are complete to a high standard and on time.

This is a mobile role and you’ll need to have a full, clean driving licence and be willing to work 40 hours per week. This role requires flexibility to cover Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Hereford and Worcestershire (DY10) regions, so will involve travel to these areas to suit program of works. A electric van will be provided dependent on availability*. Due to the nature of the role, a DBS check will be undertaken for the successful applicant.

**We want someone who**:

- Is a genuine all-rounder with strong practical skills and first-hand knowledge of plumbing, carpentry and plastering trades
- Has proven ability to diagnose/problem solve, undertake and complete the fitting of kitchens/bathrooms to high levels of quality and customer satisfaction
- Has plenty of flexibility to travel to surrounding areas
- Has good communication skills
- Is seen as a people person with excellent customer service skills
- Is comfortable working in a team and independently without supervision
- Feels comfortable working within a social housing environment
- Has an outstanding work ethic and the drive to complete work to an excellent standard without close supervision and on time to keep with the program
- Is good with technology (phone/tablet)
- Has a full, clean driving licence.

Your previous experience may be in roles as a kitchen fitter, bathroom fitter, amongst others.
