Procurement Associate

Nine Twenty are delighted to be recruiting a Procurement Associate to join a hugely successful E-commerce based in North Lanarkshire on a permanent basis.

**We are looking for someone who has the following experience**:

- Lead purchasing and inventory control initiatives.
- Issue purchase orders aligned with customer order velocity.
- Expedite orders and collaborate with suppliers to guarantee timely, complete deliveries; devise contingency plans as needed.
- Forge and nurture productive supplier relationships; addressing order, delivery, and invoice discrepancies.
- Manage supplier pricing data, undertake cost-reduction projects, and negotiate optimal prices with suppliers.
- Maintain accurate forecasts and safety stock levels for primary product lines, improve stock rotations and gather ageing metrics.
- Assess product quality, timeliness of delivery, and other supplier performance metrics.
