**Rate of pay - £13.50 per hour**
**Hours - 30 per week**
**Job Summary (Description of main purpose of job)**
- You will be responsible for leading a designated group of support workers to ensure that excellent services are delivered to each person supported by Brothers of Charity.
- The person appointed will display a level of judgement and initiative proportionate with the significance of their post and have the skills and ability to manage a larger group of clients and Support workers and support the delivery of a large number of support hours.**Qualification with experience of working with adults who have learning disabilities and their families**
***Knowledge and understanding and a track record in planning with people**
***Excellent listening skills - Ability to actively listen to what the people we support are asking for and design support to reflect this.**
***Excellent leadership skills - To demonstrate an ability to set direction, lead and motivate staff**
***Positive role model - Hard working, motivated, flexible with a proactive approach**
***Integrity - Clear desire to work and commit to delivering a service in an open and honest manner.**
***Problem solving skills - Demonstrate skills in understanding complex situations and difficulties and work in a sensitive manner to solve these.**
***Personal learning and development - Show a desire to learn and develop through continuous training and development.**
***Management/Organisational skills - to be able to manage more than one location (home) and support teams of staff and clients.**
***Excellent communication skills - Ability to communicate to a high standard with strong interpersonal skills.**
***Experience of delivering change**
***Experience of working with and relating to people from a wide variety of backgrounds including marginalised groups**
***Relevant experience of working with people with learning disabilities**
***Ability to effectively support the delivery of the ethos, vision and values of the Brothers of Charity Services.**
***To work on rota including evenings and weekends**
