New England Seafood International (NESI) is the UK’s leading supplier of premium wild and armed fish to Retail and Foodservice markets. We source an array of high-quality sustainable species of fish from around the world, process and pack it in our two UK operations and distribute a variety of product formats to major supermarkets and well-known Foodservice operators both in their own label brands, as well as our own brands, ‘Wild Fish Discovery’ and At NESI our core purpose is enhancing lives through fish, and we believe people are the most important asset to any business, that is why we choice to put all our people first, by investing in developing our leaders to ensure they can support their teams in growing individuals, to reach their true potential.

We currently recruiting for a experienced People led Team Leader, if you are passionate about people, and have a proven history of leading a high powered team then we want to hear from you.

**What is the main purpose of this role?**

Responsible for the manufacturing environment and processes to achieve business goals. Priority tasks of the role include executing production schedules and allocating resources to produce safe and legally compliant products efficiently and cost effectively. To deliver success and growth by engaging and developing your team capacity and capability.

Roles and responsibilities broken down in to “SPQDC”
- To ensure all employees and agency work in a safe environment, every day. If an accident or incident occurs, I act.

People - To develop and train a well-balanced multiskilled team. Proactively driving performance of team and developing our talent pool for ongoing success.

Quality - Manufacture safe and legal food and maintain an environment which nurtures this. Proactively reducing non-conformity and driving process improvements. To demonstrate and lead by example whilst working collaboratively and cross functionally.

Delivery - Achieve business KPI metrics focused on customer service and product quality with an emphasis on continuous improvement opportunities.

Cost - Achieve business KPI metrics focused on yield /carcass utilisation, labour and line efficiencies with an emphasis on continuous improvement opportunities.

**What experiences, knowledge and capabilities do I need to demonstrate?**
- Strong character with good communication skills who can engage effectively with their team and drive performance
- Daily ambient/chilled supply experience advantageous

**Required**:

- 2+ years in leadership roles responsible for small teams
- 2+ years in FMCG food industry preferable

Pay: £29,886.88-£34,385.27 per year
