Harsco Rail offers contract services for Rail Grinding and has been grinding rail for over 50 years, covering more than 300,000 km (192,000 miles) in the last 7 years.

**Job Description**:
**JOB PURPOSE**

**KEY RESULT AREAS**
- Support with effective commercial contract management including:

- Contract variation management
- Support with the production of quality estimates
- Support quality reporting and review of data sources and data extraction

**Qualifications**:
**Competency**

Qualifications & Managerial Experience
- Relevant experience to deliver effective commercial management processes and financial reporting
- 3-5 years’ experience with demonstrated ability to perform commercial functions.
- CMI Level 3 or equivalent qualification (or working towards)
- Data analysis, problem solving / decision making skills.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Technical Skills
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems
- Proficient in customer management systems as required

Additional Information
**RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES**
- Implement pre and post Contract commercial management services.
- Undertake relevant Commercial Management duties in conformance with Policies and Procedures in a timely and effective manner.
- Support in the production of commercial data including estimates, quotes, Cost of Work Done for relevant reporting cycles.
- Compiles relevant periodic financial reports in support of the Contracts and Claims Manager.
- Meet with the customer, internal or external at planned and adhoc meetings.
- Follow processes to effectively manage warranty issues.
- Operating the internal MRP system to assist with Commercial processes.
- Expediting Orders and updating end users and ensuring that sales invoices are generated in a timely manner.
- Review with Finance on invoice and ledger activities
- Involvement in the month end financial processes, producing aged debtors report and escalating outstanding debts.
