**Job summary**:
We are currently looking for a **Partnerships** **Executive Assistant / Business Support** to join our **Partnerships** group.

This is a **full-time** opportunity, on a **12-month fixed term contract/internal move or temporary promotion **basis. The role will be based in 10 South Colonnade, Canary Wharf London, E14 4PU. Please be aware that this role can only be worked in the UK and not overseas. We are currently implementing a flexible, hybrid way of working, with a minimum of 4 days per month working on site to enable the collaboration and contact with partners and stakeholders needed to deliver MHRA business. Attendance on site is driven by business needs so depending on the nature of the role, this can flex up to 8 days a month, with the remainder of time worked either remotely or in the office. Some roles will need to be on site more regularly. Remote working is potentially available for some specific roles. Please discuss this with the recruiting manager before accepting an appointment.

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency enhance and improve the health of millions of people every day through the effective regulation of medicines and medical devices, underpinned by science and research.

The Partnerships Group has responsibility for the development of the MHRA’s national and international partnerships to ensure UK patients have the fastest possible access to safe, effective, medicines and medical devices; for developing a new underpinning legal regime for medicines and medical devices; driving priority policy development and for establishing a Commercial Partnership function in support to MHRA’s wider business development functions.

We are working on issues that are at the heart of public health - fast, safe access to medicines and medical devices, working with industry and NHS and other health Arm’s Length Bodies (ALBs); tackling global health threats such as COVID19 and possible future pandemics; supporting the future of the life sciences industry in the UK. We do all this while ensuring the voice of patients is at the heart of our work

Team members have core responsibilities and accountabilities, including delivering projects which cut across the whole of the Group’s responsibilities. **Job description**:
**What’s the role?**

The role will include core responsibilities, to provide executive administrative and business support, working with senior leadership, to the ensure the smooth running of the Partnerships Group. It will also offer developmental opportunities to contribute to projects and key policy areas across the range of Partnerships responsibilities and reaching across the whole of the Agency’s work, enabling collaborations across MHRA and with other health organisations, working across the national and international space, to identify and resolve issues.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Provision of professional executive support to the Chief Partnerships Officer and senior leaders to enable effective prioritisation of workstreams and achievement high-level cross-cutting Agency objectives.
- Organisation of Senior Leadership Team and Divisional meetings, away days, training, and facilitation of all aspects of recruitment, onboarding, and induction.
- Acting as a point of contact for business or corporate queries, and taking responsibility for procurement, the smooth operation of the Partnerships mailbox, and supporting business continuity, digital and information management activities.
- Enabling collaborative working and an agile and iterative relationship between partnering and policy activities and flexibly providing support to Partnerships functions and projects as priorities dictate.
