**A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ACCOUNTS TEAM MEMBER AT BRIDGEWOOD MANOR HOTEL.**

**WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU**
- We hire mostly on personality potential but here are a few of our requirements..._

To succeed in the role of Accounts Team Member, you will need the following qualities and skills:
SALES LEDGER
- Making sure all sales invoices are sent out
- Ensuring the sales invoices are produced correctly as per the agreed terms
- Managing with any disputed charges on the invoices internally with team members from other departments as well as externally with the Travel Agents
- Producing statements, and other reports on RezLynx (our Hotel System)
- Chasing for sales ledger payments diligently following up with all correspondence until debt is collected.
- Completing daily the sales ledger invoice tracker on excel sheet where all notes for disputes, chasing, date of invoices sent and all related details are mentioned.
- Filing of all produced invoices
- Any other ad-hoc duties

CASH COUNT
- Collecting and counting the daily cash for all completed shifts from the safe (Bar, Restaurant, Front Office)
- Completing the related reporting on excel sheets for the cash count
- Ensuring all actual cash is reconciled as recorded on the enclosed papers with the records on the system
- Follow up with any discrepancies until case is clarified and adjustments are accounted for accurately.
- Reimbursement of petty cash expenses
- Periodical departmental spot float count
- Prepare cash banking for collection from security company

CREDIT CARD RECONCILIATIUON
- Completing daily Credit Card reconciliation on Excel
- Working on Credit Card Platforms (Trust/ Omnipay, Amex) to access all details and investigate further unreconciled transactions
- Collaborate with other team members to process any payment adjustments on the System (RezLynx), or payment collections which were omitted.

REVENUE
- Completing daily records with all produced revenue in the hotel
- Understanding of how the revenue is processed in the Accounts is needed for the person on the role to be fully functional in the Accounts Team.
