**About us**

Cantref Care Home, a family run care home with over thirty years experience of working with and looking after the older adult sector who require 24 hour personal care.
- Support individuals and help them to live independent and active lives as possible
- To ensure the person care of Service Users are met and that they retain their dignity and individuality.
- To maintain professional, safe and secure environment for our Service Users, Staff and Visitors. Check all doors and windows in the evening time.
- To support Senior Care and Support Senior with the demands of the service
- Talking to individuals to assess what care and support they need and have a positive and professional conversation style
- Practice within the framework established in the Code of Practice for Social Care Wales
- Adherence to Cantref Care Home policies and procedures especially with regards to Manual Handling, Health and Safety, Data Protection and Protection of Vulnerable Adults
- Maintain appropriate records / To read and appreciate care plans for each individual
- Shifts - Week one, Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat and Sun and week two, Weds and Thurs, same pattern for week three and four.

**Job Types**: Temporary contract, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 months

**Salary**: £11.70 per hour
