Space Planner

The Space and Range team have a fantastic opportunity for Space Planner to join them on a permanent basis.

**What’s the role about?**

The ultimate purpose of this role is to deliver outstanding planograms that ensure the right product is in the right place for our Waitrose Branches. You will have full accountability for the ranging and assortment decisions for specific small to medium sized categories/layouts that will ultimately delight our customers and positively impact the commercial success of our business.

You will translate category insight and data and work collaboratively with a variety of internal stakeholders to understand how our customers are shopping and be accountable for putting forward the best range to meet their needs.

**Please note, the salary range for this role is: £33,200.00 - £44,200.00 per annum (FTE)**

**What will you be doing as a Space Planner**
- Set clear intent, direction and guardrails to achieve outcomes, aligned to the Partnership strategy.
- Enable Partners to have a voice in our business.
- Invest in your personal and professional development, acting as a role model for all Partners.
- Leverage insight and internal and external networks to keep abreast of key customer requirements, market conditions and trends, including technological advancements.
- Own business processes, frameworks and tools within your area, continuously improving them to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

**What you’ll have**
- Experience and knowledge of Space Planning systems
- Analytical with proven background in handling complex data requirements and data manipulations.
- Experience at reading and interpreting data, with the ability to simplify complex situations or outputs and coupled with proven solution orientation, a collaborative and supportive approach.
- Working under time pressure and to deadlines.
- Proven attention to detail and proactive ownership of task and role whilst working with complex systems.
- Good judgement in all situations, adapting approach to deliver the best outcome in a fast paced, multi stakeholder customer-centric team.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
