**What will I be doing?**

Not one day is the same as the next in CCF branch life, but here are a few pointers:
- Our success is built on strong relationships with our customers so it’s essential that you can help deliver the highest standards of service - the key thing is to be helpful and friendly at all times, you will likely get to know our customers on a first name basis.- You will be based inside, processing our customer orders, answering the phone, keeping stock and facing up shelves.- You will also be dealing with supplier deliveries and accurately book them in the branch.- Full training is provided to use our systems and a coach will be assigned to help you on your development programme for the first 12 months.- Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, your aim will be to ensure that our standards never slip, this means maintaining a tidy and safe working environment.

**What we are looking for**

Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar phone based role with great customer service skills and able to relate to loads of different people. Self motivated, enthusiastic and organised, you will also have good numerical skills. As long as you have fundamental customer service and transferable skills, anyone can be successful in this role.

This role is based in our Travis Perkins Workington branch, this is a growing team where you are really made to feel at home. This is a flagship branch in a very established position within their area. With an average turnover of 11 million per year they are the 7th biggest Travis Perkins branch in the UK. However, don’t let that put you off, with great staff and customer base it will be the perfect branch to start your career with us. With a team that all gets stuck in and help each other out when in busier periods. This is an opportunity for someone with little to no experience to get their teeth stuck in and develop a long lasting career with us. The team which is soon to be 27, will take you under their wing along with Simon the branch manager, to really give you the best development opportunities. They have a full tool hire with 4 staff members, 2 vans, 2 HGV wagons and a sprinter van deliveries are always flying out. We are looking for someone to bring confidence and customer service skills to be the front of our business working on the counter.

My name is Natalie, and I currently work as part of the Recruitment Team here at Travis Perkins, but I started off my career in my local branch when I was 18 completing a development programme, which I then became a Branch Supervisor.
