Nanny/housekeeper

Before and afterschool Nanny (full time salary) - Sale - Monday to Friday

A family requires a flexible and pro active nanny to assist a family with their 2 children aged 11 and 9 years old. The older child will be starting high school in September, therefore the nanny would be required to help build her independence and be a support for her in what is likely to be a challenging year emotionally. The younger child will be working towards taking his 11+, so the Nanny would be required to assist and support him with is work.

The role will be before and after school during term time, and full time in the school holidays, and will be paid on a salary basis. The family require stability within the household to help with managing the children’s daily routine and activities. During term time, once the children are at school, the Nanny would be required to prepare a cooked meal for the evening and help with light housekeeping duties - laundry, shopping, and light cleaning.

Once these tasks are complete, the Nanny will have some ‘downtime’ during termtime, but would always need to be on hand for if either child is sick, and needs collecting early from school.

Days and hours required:
Monday to Friday term time - 7am - 10am and 3pm - 6pm

Monday to Friday school holidays - 7am - 6pm

The nanny would be required to offer flexibility, as on occasions, the nanny may be asked to stay slightly later, this is very rare and will always get the time back with either a later start or an earlier finish.

Must have:
12 hour paediatric first aid certificate within the last 3 years

Minimum 3 years experience with similar age children

Full, clean UK driving licence and own a car

Long term commitment

To cover a Maternity role, but will be made permanent.

Start date - ASAP

Salary - £26k - 28k per annum
