The role of the Senior Assistant Producer, Saturday Social is to contribute to the production of market-leading linear and social/digital sports video content and programming. The role also requires collaboration and communication with the editorial and social teams in Sky Sports Digital as well as more widely with the live Sky Sports football team. Reporting to the Producer, Saturday Social this is a key role that will ensure Sky Sports remains the destination of choice for sports fans and continues to add value to the Sky Sports subscription.

What you'll do:
Production
- Creating high-quality sports video content for all platforms, including features and creative music pieces
- Editing highlights and analysis packages
- Desk-top editing, and digital content publishing
- Producing & directing multi-camera ENG offsite and studio shoots with Talent.
- Overseeing the planning and delivery of digital video content for priority Sky Sports events for publishing to multiple platforms
- Maintain expert knowledge of current football issues and stories
- Support Sky and Sky Sports in the promotion of “Force for Good” initiatives
- Support and aid the development of Assistant Producers in the team
- Propose innovative and editorially sound programme/feature ideas for all platforms

Relationship Management
- Work closely with video, editorial and social teams within Sky Sports Digital to ensure consistency of football output across platforms
- Ensure that lines of communication within and across departments are clear and workable
- Highly motivated and creative

- Demonstrated experience working in a quick-paced work environment with tight deadlines

Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience of editing and producing sports content services, particularly in the TV and digital space.
- Experience working within complex and multidimensional work environments, managing multiple stakeholders with different objectives.
- An understanding of new and emerging media technologies and platforms and experience of delivering content services to each.
- Good knowledge of video production and video production software
- Strong working knowledge of media law
