Dog Walker

We Love Pets Wokingham/Winnersh is an established and reputable pet care company that is dedicated to providing top-quality services to furry friends in Wokingham/Winnersh and the surrounding areas. We are currently seeking a reliable dog walker to join our passionate team of pet enthusiasts.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide regular and dependable dog walking services for our clients' beloved canine companions.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of dogs under your care at all times.
- Follow detailed instructions provided by pet owners regarding walking routes, behaviour, and any specific requirements.
- Engage and interact with dogs to provide mental stimulation and exercise during walks.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanour when communicating with clients and fellow team members.
- Report any health or behavioural concerns observed during walks to the appropriate staff members.
- Manage multiple dogs and maintain control and order during group walks.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 1 year of professional dog walking experience preferred.
- Genuine love and understanding of dogs, with a keen interest in their well-being.
- Physical fitness and the ability to walk for extended periods, regardless of weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and fellow team members.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment.
- Access to a reliable mode of transportation to reach various walking locations.
- Basic knowledge of dog behaviour, health, and first aid is desirable but training will be provided.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract, Volunteer
Part-time hours: 15-20 per week

**Salary**: £10.42-£18.23 per hour
