The Patient and Bereavement service are based in Trust Headquarters, the team is part of the Palliative and End of life care team, working with the Bereavement Nurse and managed by the Bereavement officer.
Brief job details
The main role of the Deputy Bereavement Officer is to support the Bereavement Officer to support bereaved families working liaising with medical staff, Medical examiner office, the coroner and the wards. They will also support the road traffic collision compensation claims process.
- GCSE English and Math A-C
- NVQ3 in Business Administration or social and health care or working towards
- Experience of working in a caring environment and dealing with bereaved families
- Organisational skill, flexible good IT skills
