We are delighted to be working on an excellent Legal Counsel opportunity for an organisation based in the East Midlands.

Working closely with the General Counsel, you will be in a broad general in-house position and will support on a variety of matters including contracts, litigation, property and compliance. Day to day you will be drafting and negotiating a wide variety ofcommercial contracts, providing advice on commercial property matters which could include drafting leases and licences and assisting the legal team with governance and compliance matters. As well as this, there will be the opportunity to get involved in projectwork across the business.

This will be a junior role with a starting salary of £45,000. The organisation have a wealth of flexibility and require individuals to be in the office for 2 days per week. With this opportunity, prior contracts / in-house experience is not required as thebusiness are happy to re-train and look at individuals from all practice backgrounds, providing that they have a UK practising certificate.
