**Site Chemist Manager**

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Site Chemist Manager to join a prestigious client within the Chemical industry leading the way in recovery, recycling, and sustainability.

The Site Chemist Manager position is offering a competitive salary, great company benefits and will be based in Cheshire within short reach of the M56 and M6

**Responsibilities and tasks**
- Planning of incoming and outgoing waste and responsible for safe storage
- Ensuring all chemists and operatives are working safely and wearing correct PPE
- Risk assessments and Health and safety site compliance
- Provide accurate documentation for all waste on site using stock database
- Lab analysis testing hazardous and non-hazardous waste
- Training and mentoring analytical chemists, new hires, and junior chemists
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures (training provided)
- Working with Site manager and Stock manager to prioritise and delegate tasks to ensure site runs safety and efficiently

**Experience & qualifications**
- 4+ years in Senior Chemist/ Site Chemist Manager position or similar
- Qualified with MSc or BSc in Chemistry (or similar scientific degree)
- Previous waste management experience (Desirable)
- Chemical waste and storage expertise
- Knowledge or experience of using integrated Management systems
- ADR/CODG Awareness/licence
