Looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk this client has only gone from strength to strength in the past couple of years and this appointment is the latest hire as they look to expand the team.

The Finance Director has a very personable approach and likes to get to know all his staff individually as he is very keen on creating a ‘family feel’ atmosphere at work.

After passing your probation there will be the opportunity to travel down to London (all expenses paid trip) to meet the CEO of the business and work in the head office for a couple of days. This gives you the opportunity to meet the people you’ll be liaising with on a weekly basis and from previous employee’s experience this has allowed them to develop a greater understanding of the role.

You will be working in a team of 5 and reporting to the Finance Director where you will be maintaining the purchase ledger function from start to finish with your duties including:

- Weekly and monthly payment runs
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Processing, coding, and matching invoices
- Managing any supplier queries
- Ensuring suppliers are paid on time and adhering to various payment terms
