**Key duties and role requirements**:

- Enabling access for me to social and leisure activities in the community
- Supporting me with practical tasks such as walking the dog and tasks around the home along with general support including planning/structuring and other needs as they arise
- You will need a driving license and use of your own car to undertake this role - mileage at 30p per mile will be paid for. Additional expense of insuring your car for business use will be met by myself if needed.

**Hours and pay**:

- £10.82/hour
- 8 hours per week
- ** There is a lot of flexibility within the hours which will be discussed as job share available.**

**Training**:

- Training can be provided, and we encourage applicants to watch “what is the role of a PA” by RIULSUK on YouTube and view the NAS website.

**Covid & vaccinations**:

- The role requires close personal contact with an individual who is clinically extremely vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission. Preference may be given to applicants who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Careful consideration will be given to applicants who can show the vaccination is not suitable for them on reasonable grounds.
- Adherence to current Covid guidelines will be necessary.

**Additional Requirements**:

- It is important for workers not to use social media or mobile devices whilst working unless it is an emergency.
- An awareness of autism and anxiety would be helpful but it’s not an essential.
- Some understanding of chronic pain/fatigue as I'm chronically ill, again helpful but not essential.
- Please have a genuine interest in working with adults with anxiety and autism.
- Enable me to live my life to the full, respecting my choices.
- Have initiative and be able to offer support sensitively.
- Be professional, punctual, reliable, and flexible.
- Have a caring nature.
