A Security/ Night Porter starting ASAP ( DBS Checked)

Part time: average of 30 hours per week.

WHAT THE JOB INVOLVES:
You' will be working within a friendly and supportive team and playing a vital role in ensuring that students living in our properties have a great experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Making regular patrols across multiple sites to provide safety and security support
- Identifying, reacting, reporting and escalating emergency situations, providing handovers and debriefs to relevant departments
- Handling any complaints, issues or incidents with the appropriate level of involvement from the emergency services and light maintenance.
- Completing Health and Safety Audits and Fire Safety checks
- Identifying and resolving safety hazards and risks and responding to alarm activation
- Following customer management protocols when dealing with behaviour and well-being issues
- Undertaking administration duties including completing incident logs.
- Providing reception support and customer service-Maintaining positive community relationships with neighbours, local communities and local authorities.

- Demonstrable ability to take a calm, professional and objective approach when handling difficult situations-A positive and collegiate attitude-Flexibility to work nights and weekends and to take part in a rota-The ability to understand, empathise and deliver against customer needs -The ability to work at pace, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy-Excellent personal time management and prioritisation skills -Self-motivation and the ability to work on your initiative
