An exciting vacancy has arisen in the Renal Research team for a research data clerk to support the activities of the wider research team. This post will undertake all supportive administration tasks to support the work of a team of research nurses and AHPs. We are looking for a team player who is willing and able to work to support our very productive team. We are a productive team working at pace, and value the contribution of all team members to ensure that we deliver research to an exemplary standard. We work flexibly and across sites to ensure that we maximise research participation across the renal speciality. The post holder will need to be able to work autonomously as necessary and organise their time. Excellent communication skills are essential as they will be having contact with patients, members of staff and external research sponsors in their role.

**Detailed job description and main responsibilities**:
This post will undertake a range of administrative and data entry activities. The work is supportive of the work of the wider research team and includes uploading research documentation to Digital Health Records, booking patient appointments, dealing with research sponsors and taking calls and queries from research participants. The post will also undertake a range of research data entry and query resolution activities to support the team's research activity. The post holder will have responsibility for their own portfolio of observational studies and will collect and enter data as well as liaise with research sponsors to ensure that these studies are delivered to a high standard.

**Salary**: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.

The system will run a check against the key security features within your documentation. The system will provide us with an outcome of your check which will be stored securely on your personal file along with all other pre-employment check documentation.
