We have a great opportunity for a **Junior Fitter **to join our team in our HSS **Solihull **branch**.**

Shift: Monday to Friday with alternate Saturday mornings.

**Overall, your main duties will be to**:

- ‘Test & Run’ all hire equipment ** **:

- Conduct routine service and maintenance of all hire equipment and products including electrical testing where required
- Liaise with the Workshop Manager when spare parts are required to ensure cost effective repairs
- Keep service records up to date and maintained. You will input this information onto the internal computerised system (Spanner)
- Ensure that all equipment is cleaned to the highest standard ready for hire

You will have a flare for tinkering and a flexible approach to your work with a drive to expand your skills and progress within the company.

You will have experience in maintaining mechanical and/or electrical equipment, communication skills and manual handling awareness. It is advantageous if you have experience in the Hire industry but you will receive training on our equipment and procedures regardless. You must be able to demonstrate understanding of the role and your experiences.
