A well-established SEN school in North Essex who caters for pupils with a range of needs (MLD, SLD and SEMH) are looking for recent graduates/experienced TA’s to join their team as a SEN specialist TA. As a specialist SEN TA you will be supporting the pupils grow, supporting them to learn, helping them to become more independent, resilient and ready to face the challenges beyond our doors. The school has a strong team of dedicated staff and supportive leadership.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will be expected too;
- Follow instructions from Teachers in order to effectively support the classroom.
- Adhere to professional practice standards and legislation, including confidentiality, safeguarding, equality and diversity and inclusion policies
- Support students on 1:1, and small group basis adapting your approach on a case by case basis in order to engage students effectively
- Help children with learning and development
