**Overview**

We are a well-established provider of children’s Residential Care, based in the Buxton/Chapel area. We are seeking to recruit Residential Care Workers, to join us in providing quality care, therapy and education for girls between 10 and 17 years old. The home is a warm, therapeutic environment, offering girls real hope for the future. Our girls often come from extremely chaotic backgrounds and require support to overcome a variety of emotional, social and behavioural difficulties.

Country Care have over 20 years experience of delivering outstanding care and positive outcomes both socially and educationally. The home and school are registered separately but both are judged Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted. Safeguarding our youngsters is of paramount importance, as is our core ethos of providing quality care, education within a holistic, therapeutic environment.

We offer full training and support to progress up to Level 4 for RCW and level 5 in senior roles.

As a member of the team, you will need to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, social, cultural, and educational needs of the young people.

You will be able and confident in working within a strong and established staff team. You will also need to be a positive role model who is able to offer advice, guidance and assistance where appropriate. It is important that you can work as part of a team along with recording information accurately, sharing reports and details at meetings and child protection conferences.

**Job Requirements**
- Level 3 in Children's and Young People's Workforce (Desirable)
- Experience working with children/ young people with challenging behaviours in a residential setting. (Advantage).
- Be flexible and able to work on a shift/rota basis, including some sleep-ins (Essential).
- Be a minimum of 22 years of age.
- A full UK driving license.
