**We **have got an exciting opportunity for anexperienced **forklift driver **at our client's **sawmill** at **Wooperton**. Holding a current counterbalance forklift license is desirable.
**Job Role**
The key purpose of this role is to run the operation of the treatment tanks, ensuring the treatment of all timber is carried out effectively. You will be driving a forklift for a lot of the work carried out.
You will be working on a 4 days on, 4 days off schedule.
**Your main responsibilities will be but not limited to**:
- Testing moisture levels of timber to be treated
- Operate, drive, load and unload forklift trucks safely
- Treating the timber to different specifications and to the operators manual
- Monitoring the mixture of chemicals, doing regular strength checks
- Recording data on records and charts
- Responsible for ensuring treated packs of timber are stacked correctly in the right place
**How it works**
This role is on a **12-week 'temp to perm'** basis. This means that **after twelve weeks, **dependant on your attendance, ability and other key factors, **you will be taken on a permanent contract with our client.**

**After your 12 weeks of training is complete, you will also receive a pay increase**
