Bedford Winter Wonderland are looking for experienced Customer Service Staff to work at our outdoor ice-rink as part of our event in Bedford Park this winter.

We have a number of roles including **Skate Marshalls, Skate Hire Staff and Team Leader**. You will be responsible for the safety of all visitors to the rink and of ensuring an enjoyable experience for all. A friendly, outgoing nature is required along with good customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Rates of pay will be dependent upon experience.

**Operating dates**: 25th November 2023 - 3rd January 2024

**Operating Times**:Weekdays 4pm-9pm, Weekends 12pm-9pm

**On the 18th December opening times are extended to 12pm - 9pm daily until 3rd January**

**Staff Training will be provided and will take place on site prior to opening.**

First Aid certificates and DBS (CRB) checks are a plus but are not essential.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide excellent hospitality and guest services during events
- Greet and direct guests to their designated areas
- Manage crowd control and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees
- Answer questions and provide information about the event to guests
- Monitor event areas to maintain cleanliness and organisation
- Assist with ticketing, registration, and check-in processes
- Collaborate with other event staff to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift/move objects as needed
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Previous experience working within ice rinks, hospitality or guest services is a plus
