Shot Blast Operator

Established for 40 years and now one of the North West’s leading multi award winning **Engineering **companies, WEC Group Ltd is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic **Shot Blaster **to join our busy **Powder Coating **team based in Darwen, Lancs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated **Shot Blaster**, who wishes to progress within a dynamic and rapidly expanding engineering firm.

**Responsibilities**
- Working to specific production schedules
- Completing all administrative procedures relating to paint area
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment
- Adhering to COSHH
- Maintaining own equipment, change grit valve, check and change grit-hose, dead man’s handle and nozzles etc
- Attending meetings as and when needed
- Any other ad hoc duties as may be required within the production environment

**Knowledge, Skills, Experience**
- Previous, current experience as a shot blaster
- Valid Fork Lift Truck Licence
- Fully conversant in both written and verbal English
- Lifting and Slinging safe working knowledge/certificate

Salary

OTE **£13.63 p/h** (Basic Pay - £13 p/h + £25 Weekly attendance bonus)

**Hours of Work**

Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm & on Friday 8:00am - 2:00pm (40 Hours a week)
