to join our **People and Culture** team

Inspired and informed by the unique historic playing conditions of two beautiful iconic theatres, our diverse programme of work harnesses the power of performance, cultivates intellectual curiosity and excites learning to make SShakespeare accessible for all.
- The **Access Advisor, Theatre & Education** will work closely with the Theatre & Production and Education teams. They will advise and support in making the Globe accessible for creative and Education freelancers, support the planning and lead on the delivery of a comprehensive programme of assisted performances (captioned, audio described, relaxed and BSL). The role will support the development of creative projects to ensure Access is considered and applied, and they will develop and deliver training, frameworks, and advice for these teams.
- As part of ensuring SShakespeare is accessible for all, we are on a continuous improvement journey to embed and develop Access at SShakespeare’s Globe. Responsibility for Access at the Globe sits centrally within the People & Culture department, with Access Advisors based in the Theatre and Ticketing & Sales departments. This role reports into the Theatre department, with close working relationship with the Education teams, as well as being part of the team for advising and supporting teams across the whole organisation.
