**Receptionist**:
We are currently seeking an experienced Receptionist who will act as the face of the business and ensure the smooth running of all aspects of the front of house at our head office in London. The post holder will provide support with the completion of a variety tasks including answering telephone calls and enquiries, meeting arrangements, managing the post and health and safety and assisting the office manager with event planning and in house catering.

**MAIN TASKS**:
Main responsibilities of the role include:

- Greet all incoming guests ensuring all visitors to Carter Jonas have a pleasant experience
- Operate the reception switchboard in a warm, confident and cheerful manner, and to redirect calls to most appropriate person efficiently
- Ensuring that the reception area is kept in a pristine condition at all times as well as the meeting rooms
- Maintain MS Outlook calendar for booking/organising eight conference rooms and making sure all are in good shape pre/post meetings
- Liaising with the office manager on a daily basis to plan and confirm meeting room catering requirements
- Providing refreshments for guests and big meetings (Tea, Coffee & Water)
- Support the Office Manager with event planning and invoicing.
- Liaise with the Office Manager for set up of all VC/IT equipment including any other resource requirements
- Provide office support in handling all mailing and courier packages, incoming and outgoing and making sure all delivery notes have been signed off & logged
- Any other duties of an associated/similar nature

**WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO BE SUCCESSFUL?**

Experience in a similar role is desirable, a professional telephone manner, exceptional customer services and good communication skills, a natural ability to collaborate with internal and external people, demonstrating a willingness to consult others for ideas, advice and direction when needed. Attention to detail is paramount, along with strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-task. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint & Outlook. A strong team player with good interpersonal skills and effective Time Management Skills.
