**A bit about the role**

12 hour day time shifts 9am - 9pm.

We are looking for staff for a lovely lady with complex support needs. The lady currently lives in a shared bungalow but is hoping to move into her own home soon.

Livability provides a 24/7 support packaging with waking night support and 2:1 staffing levels. The lady has Cerebral Palsy, Bipolar Mood Disorder and Autism, she currently uses a wheelchair and can transfer in and out of the wheelchair using a stand aid. Staff support the lady with personal care tasks, managing her home environment and accessing the community. Once the lady has got to know staff and is relaxed she enjoys chatting with staff, she has a great memory and will remember what staff tell her. She loves going out in her car and regularly visits her parents. She does need support to manage anxiety and this can impact on how she engages with staff. There are lots of strategies that staff can use to reduce her anxiety and support her to interact positively.

We are looking for staff who want to make a positive difference, previous support worker experience would be beneficial but not essential. We are looking for staff who are patient, calm and who can create consistent routines. This lady really enjoys being out and about, especially places where she will be able to see dogs. We are therefore looking for staff with a full, clean UK driving license and who can drive the lady’s mobility vehicle.
