The Company:
As a Placement Officer, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating opportunities for individuals to secure valuable placements in their respective fields. Your dedication and expertise will be essential in liaising with local authorities to match them effectively with appropriate placement opportunities. Your ability to foster relationships, coordinate, and provide guidance will be instrumental in ensuring successful placements that contribute to the professional growth and development of Cura Living.

Our well-established company have two semi supported living provisions in the Northwest and one in the south region. This role is an exciting opportunity, and a great opportunity for an experienced Placement Officer to really make their mark with this role.

Our company provides semi supported living for young people aged between 16/18 years old, we specialise in supporting young people and assisting them with employment, education, self-esteem, independence, mental health, and preparing them for their next step to adulthood.

The role will include
- Regional office based in Blackburn.
- Overseeing the referral system and working closely with the Registered Manager
- Liaising with local authorities, Social Workers, and other external agencies assisting in supporting the young people.
- Working with the portal system to access referrals.
- Passionate about providing high-quality person-centered services.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience within Semi Supported Living.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience with Ofsted would be an advantage.
- Overseeing all referrals that come through and liaising with the registered manager about the suitability of the placements.
- Ensuring clear communication between stakeholders, local authorities, and social workers.
- Ensuring that the service is compliant with service regulations and standards.

- Complete quality assurance documents for local authorities that we tender with.
- Experience working with Microsoft.

Pay: From £35,000.00 per year
