DESCRIPTION

THE OPPORTUNITY:
NJR Recruitment are delighted to be supporting an established, independent insurance brokerage in their recruitment of an Account Handler to join their team on the Wirral.
As Account Handler, you will be responsible for processing renewals, mid-term adjustments, quotations and new business on an existing book of business across mixed insurance lines to include Home, Motor, Commercial Vehicle, Courier and Fleet.
THE ROLE:

- Handling renewals and mid-term adjustments, across mixed lines.
- Liaising with clients and insurers on a daily basis.
- Providing a high quality service and ensuring the appropriate level of cover is provided to meet client insurance needs.
- Chasing client for documentation and ensuring policy documents are checked to a high level of accuracy.
- Responding to queries from clients and insurers.

YOU:

- Will have proven insurance broking experience, preferably with knowledge and experience of the aforementioned products.
- Knowledge of Acturis or Open GI systems would be beneficial.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential for success in this role.
- A self-driven individual with an intuitive mindset, able to interrogate and probe where necessary.
