**Job Description**:
No day in Conduct, Compliance and Operational Risk (CCOR) is the same. We're looking for a dynamic, motivated, forward thinking, and confident individual to lead the CCOR team responsible for providing oversight and independent challenge for the Finance Division. You’ll oversight risk decisions taken by Finance, report on the effectiveness of controls, and oversight delivery of strategic change in Finance and Risk. We’re looking for a trusted business partner who can build positive relationships with key partners.

What you’ll be doing:

- Build and Maintain relationships with key internal customers and act as their business partner.
- Support implementation of plans to strengthen the Finance control environment including: completion of RCSA embedding by YE 2023; process simplification and increasing the proportion of automated preventative controls; safe delivery of strategic change in Finance and Risk.
- Provide strategic, forward looking, thematic insights. Make authoritative recommendations that have a significant short-term and long-term impact on the business.
- Use data and analytic techniques to inform decisions and tell a succinct story.
- Build and lead a successful team of risk professionals. Coach and mentor others throughout the organisation.

What we need from you...
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), able to deliver complex/difficult messages with impact and lead balanced, collaborative debate.
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to challenge constructively, influence senior partners, and support the business in overcoming obstacles.
- Experienced risk professional with extensive practical experience of RCSA process and in-depth knowledge of the risks and opportunities facing Finance.
- Experience of using data and analytic techniques to inform activity and assess the completeness and effectiveness of risk and control environments.
- Experience of oversight for key change programmes including the initial prioritisation of investment.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for building and developing a successful team.
- Qualified accountant ACA/ ACCA or equivalent
