**Role**: Planner (production)

**Location**:Blackwood

**Salary**: £30,000 - £35,000

Rhino is working with our client in Blackwood area for a Planner who has experience within the food industry, you will be working with members of the supply chain to ensure supply of material is available, production schedules and customer demands are meet.

You will need to have extensive communication skills as well as the ability to develop strong working relationships with all stakeholders which will include internal and external ensuring that all needs of the business are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- You will need to maintain a 6-week forecasted production plan over two sites to meet customer demand while maximum efficiency for the business.
- Generating accurate and timely KPIs, encompassing Plant and Labour utilization, OTIF performance, and plan adherence.
- Collaborating with the Production Team to establish Standard Minute values for production tasks and generating daily/weekly operating reports.
- Vigilantly monitoring stock levels to ensure a consistent and efficient production flow for required products.
- Reporting on Finished Goods stock value and maintaining up-to-date inventory lists for management review.
- Coordinating stock transfers as necessary, along with managing all relevant paperwork.
- Ensuring the timely and secure issuance of paperwork to production, safeguarding the confidentiality of business and product information.
- Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of allergen control and segregation in production planning to minimize the risk of cross-contamination.
- Monitoring production performance against expected/planned benchmarks and providing detailed reports and efficiency improvement suggestions to the management team.
- Assisting in stock takes as required and actively identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and systems to enhance data collection and overall performance and delivery efficiency.

**Essential skills & qualifications**
- You will need a relevant degree level of qualification - such as planning, business degree to an extent.
- Experience in planning and demand forecasting within consumer goods.
- Flexible with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks at one time.
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
