Forage Farm Shop & Restaurant, situated on the Penllyn Estate, is the current Welsh Farm Shop of the Year. With a spacious 70 cover restaurant, and separate takeaway unit, it serves outstanding coffee, delicious cake and treats, and high quality meals comprised of seasonal, fresh food.

We are currently recruiting for a barista to work within the restaurant/takeaway unit, reporting to the Takeaway and Restaurant Managers.

Your primary responsibility will be to consistently serve the best coffee in Cowbridge with good vibes, a warm welcome, and a great smile

The core role is to provide excellent customer service, attending to customers’ needs in a prompt and courteous manner, while promoting sales.

**Duties & responsibilities**
- Make delicious hot and cold drinks.
- Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Work as part of a fun, dynamic team.
- Adhere to all necessary regulations and standards regarding health & safety, food safety and hygiene.
- Keep up to date with all store promotions, offers & competitions.
- Operate the tills with accuracy.
- Serve at events that take place throughout the year, such as the Christmas Experience, craft ale events, open-air cinema etc.
- Enjoys making great coffee.
- Strong organisational skills.
- An idea of what high quality service looks like.
- Basic maths and literacy skills.
- Ability to use computer systems.
- Health and safety aware.
- An outgoing and bubbly personality.
- Team player.
- Good personal hygiene.

**Salary**: From £10.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
