An opportunity has arisen to work for Mind BLMK to manage the Administrator(s) and provide administrative support to the HQ departments and the Executive Team.

Working closely with a range of partners, we offer a number of activities from our wellbeing centres and local venues to make a difference to the mental health and wellbeingof people in **Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes**, and our aim is to make sure that no-one has to face a mental health problem alone.

**About the Role**

This senior administrator role will be based at our HQ in Flitwick and will play a large overseeing role in ensuring that the HQ function runs smoothly. This will involve managing a small team of administrators and by providing administrative support tothe HQ departments and Exec team.

We are looking for a highly organised individual who has experience in a busy office environment and who has excellent communication skills at all levels of contact.

**Key Duties**
- Maintain an effective workforce for administrative department at HQ in line with Mind BLMK’s HR policies, procedures, and guidance (recruitment, line management, workload planning, support, and development of the Administrators).
- Deal with and oversee answering a wide variety of calls and enquiries from the general public, operational staff, and managers, responding, and taking action as appropriate (directing callers to relevant services/individuals, taking messages); relayinginformation accurately and on time; offer appropriate information; deal effectively with enquiries from individuals in crisis and escalate potential Safeguarding issues to the Safeguarding Lead.
- Provide and oversee administrative support to the HR department to include but not be limited to, to enable appropriate records to be kept for new and existing employees and volunteers, assist in the recruitment process for employees and volunteers, implementand be responsible for a reminder system for HR mailing returns, and to respond to ad hoc requests for reports data and figures.
- Manage the processing of DBS checks for new staff and volunteers and be responsible for ensuring 3-yearly checks are carried out for existing staff and volunteers.
