Head Cleaner

**Role**:

- To supervise and maintain the cleanliness of the Inspire Lindbergh Road site;
- Assigning cleaners to special cleaning tasks;
- managing the weekly cleaning schedule for the team,
- Checking the work of cleaners for cleanliness and thoroughness;
- Communicating regularly with the Centre Manager;
- Cleaning of all areas of the Ipswich Centre in line with daily use of the venues as required.
- Ensuring the physical safety of the building and its users during shift.
- Ensure fire exit doors are always kept clear.
- Emptying bins where needed around the facilities (both internally and externally).
- Maintaining the bin store daily to ensure the health and safety of this area is kept to an expected standard.
- Reporting maintenance issues via the electronic log book.
- Maintain records for stock levels required to clean the site and communicate these effectively in expected timescales.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 12 per week

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ipswich: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
