Owned by an award-winning chef, Kumquat Bar & Restaurant serves top quality food and drinks in a relaxed environment on the historic Pantiles.

European food mixed with the exciting flavours of Asia; Kumquat blends two cuisines together to create a delight for the senses.

As one of the kitchen team you will be working hands on with food as well as helping to keep the kitchen clean and tidy. Working alongside a chef, you will be taught what to do and over time you will become more responsible for an area of the kitchen.

A perfect job for someone who wants to learn new kitchen skills and develop themselves within the kitchen environment. Given enough time you could develop into a chef.

You should be used to working at pace in a busy environment as there are days that it can be extremely busy. It is a small kitchen so working tidy and organsied is very important.

We serve brunch/lunch 7 days a week and dinner 5 days per week (Tuesday to Saturday), you will need to be flexible in the shifts you can work.

You will receive full training in your position, but we can’t teach personality, so we are looking for people who are full of energy and naturally have that love of life.
