Job Summary:
The Media Account Manager will report to the Account Director and be responsible for understanding clients' businesses, ensuring advertising projects are delivered on time and within budget, planning, buying, managing, analyzing, and reporting on all campaigns,and acting as the main point of contact for clients on all matters. The role requires experience working across all media channels and planning & buying campaigns for standard media, ROI-led, content-oriented partnerships, social campaigns, sponsorship, andstrategy projects.
**Responsibilities**:
Motivate, supervise and delegate to the Account/Senior Account Executive.
Take full responsibility for clients' activities and play a central role in the team.
Driving and managing the monthly media relations program.
Plan time on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Effective and efficient execution of media plans as directed by the account director.
Build positive relationships with clients and internal teams.
Contribution to the strategy and creative development of accounts.
Undertaking research projects as required (e.g., for new business proposals).
Identifying new business opportunities and contributing to preparing proposals and new business presentations.
Working across all media channels and being able to show planning & buying experience.
Keeping abreast of general market position and aware of relevancy to client categories.
**Requirements**:
Excellent attention to detail.
Demonstrates insight into the media landscape and an analytical approach to briefs and media plans.
Develop holistic communications and media strategies.
Negotiate traditional and non-traditional media partnerships.
Knowledge and experience of planning and buying across all media channels.
Interest in the creative side of media planning.
Strong client servicing experience.
Facilitate the development of the account team.
Excellent presentation skills.
Confidence in front of an audience.
Passionate about the evolving world of digital.
Strong self-motivation, excellent project management, and organizational skills.
Confident and a team player.
