**Procurement Officer (inside IR35)**
**Contract Term: 10 months**
**Contracting Authority: MOD**
**Location: Andover 1-2 times per week in the office**
The Procurement Officer will be required to operate within Departmental Commercial policy to procure and contract manage a wide variety of I.T. requirements for the Army.
As a Procurement Officer Officer within the Information Directorate you will provide direct support to D Info Commercial Team Leader. You will be responsible for supporting and managing Commercial activities in the Procurement and Contract Management specialisms
**As a Procurement Officer, your main responsibilities would be**:
- Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships within all areas within the Army, specifically D Info, ensuring requirements are placed on contract in a timely and effective manner, meeting both D Info Commercial and Customer needs.
- The preparation, drafting, approval, issue, evaluation, award documentation (within Commercial Licence delegation) and management of all contracts within the team’s remit, delivered for D Info.
- Provide assurance that all commercial activity is conducted in accordance with current EU Procurement and Government procurement policy
- Provide advice and guidance on the current and developing issues within the business area. Working towards solutions.
- Examine, negotiate and authorise non-competitive contract amendments within delegated authority.
- Provide a reactive and resourceful response to emerging commercial issues and risks, often delivering crisis management/problem solving when required to the local team, commercial senior management and the Army customer.
- Ensure all Management Information (MI) data is kept up-to-date.
- Make full use of the CP&F system for contract drafting, procurement and contract management.
**You’ll have**:

- CCS Frameworks (G-Cloud, DOS etc)
- IT procurement experience
- Lean Procurement Methodologies
- Supplier Management
- Tendering and contract management
- Stakeholder engagement
- Relationship management
- Communicating and implementing Change
- Risk Management
**You will also have these Qualifications/Skills**:
- Public sector preferred but not essential
- PSP (Public sector Procurement)
- CP&F system for contract drafting- Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas_
