Your new role:
**About the role**
We’re looking for an experienced and reliable Bricklayer to join our talented team in Aberdeen. We aim to deliver the highest quality products for our customers so you’ll need to share our enthusiasm for standards and best practice, and exceeding expectations too. As a Bricklayer, you will be responsible for:
- Skilled bricklaying work to create and maintain structures, walls, chimneys, foundations etc using various types of blocks, tiles, boards, and stone
- Various tasks including pointing, internal block work, working with lime mortar, insert as required e.g. laying Flemish bond
- Undertaking checking/assessing when directed
- Identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair; to ensure compliance with agreed codes, law, working practices and health and safety
- Carry out planned tasks in accordance with contract/agreed requirements and within agreed time limits
- Maintain accurate records/documentation associated with your work
- Meet your targets and contribute to those of the team as a whole
- The post holder will be expected to have an awareness of Robertson policies, systems, procedures and objectives to assist in the successful delivery of contract conditions
