Damp Proofing Technician

**DAMP PROOFING TECHNICIAN**
We are on the search for an experienced Damp Proofing Technician to become a key player within this well-established leading company on the outskirts of Guildford, Surrey
Ideally you will be experienced in various waterproofing systems, remedial work and timber treatment. Full training will be given.
Salary £30-45K depending on experience + performance related bonus + company van + uniform and full PPE and tools
Key responsibilities for the Damp Proofing Technician include,
- Carry out a full range of damp proofing and structural waterproofing solutions, including cavity drain membrane and cementitious systems to both existing and new structures
- Timber treatment and damp proof course injection
- Ensure that the proper materials and equipment are taken to site each day
- Completes each project in good time and reports any necessary changes
- Comply with health and safety regulations and ensure safe working practices are promoted at all times
- Keeps vehicle and the equipment allocated to it clean and well-maintained

The ideal Damp Proofing Technician will need,
- Good knowledge of building construction particularly below ground structures
- A passion for this area of construction and be able to demonstrate enthusiasm
- Basic knowledge of electrics would be beneficial
- Able to follow written and verbal instruction and work both individually and with others
- Proven ability to take ownership of tasks, see things through and meet deadlines
- Full clean UK driving licence essential
- Have excellent communication skills
