**Area for post vacancy: Gloucester, GL4**

We specialise in the provision of support, concierge and safeguarding services to providers of supported housing for vulnerable people. This includes a variety of client groups such as young people, those suffering with mental health and homeless people as an example.

We are looking for people who have exceptional people skills and can demonstrate that they:

- have great communication skills,
- are reliable, responsible and can remain professional and calm in all situations.
- are a good decision maker
- have empathy with a range of vulnerable people

**The key aspects of the role include**:

- Full time - 12-hour night shifts (18:00 till 06:30) - 4 on 4 off rota.
- Rate of pay £11.40 - £12.70 per hour dependent on experience and contract arrangements.
- Being based in the Reception/Office area of the building throughout the shift.
- Dealing with visitors and residents and controlling access to and from the building.
- Responding to queries from residents and visitors
- Leading on any emergencies that may arise including liaising with emergency services as appropriate.
- Carrying out various building health and safety checks.
- Maintaining and recording all incidents or important occurrences and carry out effective handovers to the day staff.
- an **Enhanced DBS Certificate (Adult & Child) less than 3 years old (Essential)**:

- **Experience working with a complex client group in a supported housing environment (complex needs, mental health, substance use, ex-offenders etc).**:

- **A robust and calm demeanour required due to challenging nature of the site.**:

- Access to your own car to travel to work (preferred)

- an ability to create and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and customers
- a clear and robust understanding of professional boundaries
- a solid work ethic and ability to remain vigilant at all times
- a high level of personal integrity

**Salary**: £11.40-£12.70 per hour
