**Summary**:
The Exports and UK Trade Group (DGET) is a newly formed Director General Group within DIT with responsibility for maximising the benefits of the UK’s independent trading nation status across the whole of the UK through highly effective services that support exports and inward investment. DIT secures UK and global prosperity by promoting and financing international trade and investment. We are one of the few international economic departments in Whitehall.

Following the Spending Review 2021, DGET has established a new transformation programme for its export support services. The Export Support Service Programme will deliver a single integrated system of support to help UK businesses export, bringing together multiple services under one global Export Support Service offer that enables UK business to sell to the world.

You will play a key role in delivering the programme successfully, as part of a new, growing programme team. This role sits within the Change Management Team, which is responsible for setting the strategic direction for delivering change activities across the whole of the Export Support Service.

You will join a friendly and supportive team which currently comprises of the Grade 6 Head of Change Management Team, three G7 Change Managers and two HEO Change Advisors.

**Job description**:
We are looking for an excellent Change Advisor to support us to deliver the Export Support Service Programme.
- You will: _
- Provide high quality communications and engagement support to engage effectively and constructively with stakeholders so that they feel well informed and supported through change
- Work across the team to deliver key change activities for the programme including, for example, stakeholder mapping and engagement, Change Impact Assessments, change readiness activities and supporting leaders with change
- Connect in a straightforward, honest and engaging manner, choosing appropriate styles to maximise understanding and impact
- Support employee engagement through the planning and organisation of face-to-face events and other channels such as webinars and SharePoint to promote two-way engagement
- Provide clear, professional advice and support on effective engagement to create a brand and more generally support the planned changes
- Monitor and manage the change mailbox (and other team mailboxes, where required), ensuring that queries are assigned to the relevant policy or programme leads in a timely manner and resolved within the agreed timescales

**Hybrid Working**

Please be aware that this role can only be worked from within the UK and not overseas.

Informal hybrid working arrangements will be available as agreed with the vacancy manager and in line with the requirements of the role.

Most DIT employees will be working a hybrid pattern, spending 2-3 days a week (pro rata) in an office, on average. If your office location is London, you will be eligible to receive London weighting.

**Desirable Criteria**
- Knowledge and experience of stakeholder engagement, project delivery and/or change management
- Experience of** **drafting highly engaging content to communicate to stakeholders
