Job Purpose:
The Human Resources (HR) Administrator will support and assist the growth of the People team that supports over 230 Ronald McDonald House Charities UK employees throughout their employment. The People team is currently small and as the Charity continues to grow, this has created a great opportunity for someone looking to begin their career in the HR profession. The role will also support the new digitalisation of our HR processes from implementation, to training, and embedding across the Charity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supporting with the implementation and roll out of a new Dynamics 365 HR system; including set up, data transfer, training and troubleshooting (project 12 months+)
- Basic HR admin including preparing offers of employment, changes to terms and conditions and leaver documentation
- Preparing starters/leavers and pay amendments
- Completing Right to Work checks in line with legal requirements
- Managing the process of obtaining employment references for all new starters
- Preparing reference requests for leavers
- Supporting the process of DBS checks
- Setting up and providing guidance to line managers
- Ensuring employee records are accurately maintained
- Supporting the induction process for new employees, when required, including hosting inductions and sending onboarding surveys
- Preparing ad-hoc reports as required
- Working closely with the Project Lead

Skills and Abilities:

- Passion for new and emerging technologies
- A good understanding of Microsoft packages; including Excel, Outlook and Word
- Strong organisational, communication and administrative skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships
- The ability to prioritise own workload
- Demonstrate an understanding of and maintain the principles of confidentiality
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Ability and motivation to deliver high quality work with minimum supervision
