**Mobile Public Convenience Cleaner.**

**Location: Based in Rhyl.**

**Salary: Grade 1 - £ - £**

**Hours: 20 hours per week (Flexible AM and PM).**

**Permanent 52 weeks of the year.**

**Monday to Friday (with occasional weekend work).**

**Job Purpose**

To provide an efficient building cleaning service at Denbighshire County Council sites.

**Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities**

To open, clean and lock the Public Conveniences as directed.

To attend and clean Public Conveniences located throughout the County.

To drive and maintain a DCC vehicle.

Perform cleaning tasks to a satisfactory standard as per the site cleaning specification and frequencies.

Ensure all lights are extinguished and windows secured on completion of cleaning operation.

Ensure safe working practices and adhered to at all times in particular those relating to the use of machinery and chemical substances.

Report defective equipment immediately to the appropriate supervisor.

Order and receive cleaning materials as required.

Maintain cleaning store rooms in a clean and tidy condition.

Complete signing in and out each day.

Be properly attired at all times.

Access to a DCC vehicle/Mobile Phone.

**Supervision/Management of People**

None.

**Knowledge, Skills, Training and Experience**

An experienced cleaning operative with knowledge of general cleaning and the ability to perform tasks as instructed by immediate supervisor.

**Special Working Conditions**

Moderate exposure to cleaning chemicals (controlled under COSHH regulations).

**Employment Checks/ Specific Requirements**

The post does NOT require a DBS.
