**KITCHEN AND BEDROOM FITTER (sub-contracted) - BARNSTAPLE**

Due to increased demand, Dream Doors North Devon now has an exciting opportunity to work from our Barnstaple showroom as a sub-contracted kitchen fitter.

We are looking to recruit a fully experienced self-employed Kitchen/Bedroom Fitter with excellent carpentry/ joinery skills to work on new client projects across North Devon and the surrounding area.

**THE ROLE**
- Dream Doors specialises in conducting makeovers of existing kitchens and bedrooms to a high standard as well as installing completely new kitchens/bedrooms.
- You will be carrying out makeovers of existing kitchens and bedrooms e.g. replacing cabinet doors, drawers, trims, laminate worktops, appliances etc.
- To be responsible for completing kitchen and bedroom installations from plans to expected high standards and within the allocated time, whilst ensuring excellent communication with relevant parties.
- The role requires you to work autonomously or as part of a team, therefore, you are expected to use your own initiative with regards to problem solving.
- You will often be working at our customers home, so will demonstrate care and respect for other people’s property and will regularly update the customer and the office of progress.
- You will be working in and around the Barnstaple and North Devon surrounding area.

**THE PERSON**
- You will need to have proven experience of working as a kitchen fitter/carpenter/joiner. At least 5 years’ experience is required.
- You must be able to communicate confidently with people at all levels and be able to work within time constraints or schedules - an initiative-taking individual who can maintain deadlines and who is good at problem solving.
- You will have a good working knowledge of Health & Safety principles.
- You will operate in an effective and efficient manner ensuring a clean and safe working environment
- Hold a full driver’s licence and have your own van and tools.
- Must have your own hand and powered tools and evidence that the relevant tools have been PAT tested.
- Live within a commutable distance to the Barnstaple showroom
- Must have Public Liability Insurance
- Must be CIS Registered

Pay: £250.00 per day
