Pharmacy Counter Assistant

Assist in the safe and appropriate supply of medicines and pharmaceutical goods.

To serve at the counter selling shop merchandise, receiving and giving out prescriptions in a safe and appropriate manner.

To undertake general cleaning to maintain the shop in a tidy condition at all times.

To order, unpack goods and restock shelves as directed.

Carry out such other duties that from time to time and by consent can be considered the duties of a Pharmacy Counter Assistant

Assist in other areas of the pharmacy when circumstances dictate (e.g. sickness and holiday cover etc.) to enable the pharmacy to deliver all necessary services to its customers.

To work with and directly assist the Pharmacist with designated tasks

Counter assistants course qualification is preferable; training will be given to the successful applicant.

Hours: - Tuesday 2-6, Thursday 9-1 and Friday 9-1
